Bruce Marshall is a 15-year resident of Ward 7, Brampton. He has previously lived 5 years in

another area of Brampton.

For the past couple of decades, Bruce has a successful, long-running career as on-air host at

104.5 CHUM FM (Now CHUM 1045) and 1050 CHUM, in addition to several other Toronto

stations. For the past couple of decades, Bruce has been heard regularly on radio-TV online

commercials across Canada and the US.

Bruce is a 20-year firefighter veteran; former Instructor of Fire Fighting and Radio at Seneca

College and taught at the Ontario Fire College. He also taught Media and Radio at Humber

College.

Served as secretary of the Brampton Boys Minor Softball Association

Board Director - Bike Brampton

Advocate for local safety issues in Brampton

Sat with the Professors Lake Residents; Association

PR Chair of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers

Secretary of the Vaughan Professional Firefighters Association.

Involved with the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Canada

Co-hosted the Ontario production of the Jerry Lewis Telethon and was the Firefighters

Campaign Chair for Ontario for two years.

Served a number of years in Canadian Forces Reserve units in Toronto, Halifax and

Hamilton. Bruce was a weapons specialist in rifles and hand-guns.

Bruce Marshall as a 20 year veteran firefighter, he knows what it takes to be a first responder and that is the kind of leader you need representing you at City Hall. It was his job to protect people, families and property from fire and other dangers. Bruce is

also a veteran of the Canadian Forces Reserves.

Bruce served as Firefighters Campaign Chair and as Ontario Jerry

Lewis Telethon co-host with the Muscular Dystrophy Association of
